MANIFEST 09 REPORT
OKAY I'M FINALLY WRITING THIS
I'm still recuperating from those three days orz Caught a cold alongside my co-sellers during the weekend, came back to uni with overdue essays and cramming for my mid-semester exams
nonetheless, it was an amazing weekend! They changed the location for Manifest this year, so we were unsure how to get there lol orz
Was travelling with chan and kyu throughout the weekend, the limited weekend public transport made the tram so packed with otakus LOLLL some random aggro guy came on with bags of vegetable shoppings, and he ended up dropping a tomato D: chan gave it to some Spain cosplayer lololol
Me, sha and lucy managed to set-up our tables alright :) I sold out most of my Hetalia badges on Friday OTL omggg totally underestimated the power of the hetalia fandom D: There was a really nice Prussia cosplayer and an Ookami cosplayer that bought alot of my stuff >/////< thank you!!!
I managed so sell out some other stuff like my Ciel bookmarks, dn badges and prints AHAHA (girls are actually buying my half nakey mukuro print lololol
)
Again, the Gintama fandom is still tiny in Melbourne akjsdhajks I might hit someone argh
Basically the people who DID know gintama were all asian (international students!?) XD
I did meet these two Hijigin fans tho
They gave me their emails, hopefully we can fangirl over Gintama together now XD I made this Sugita Tomokazu badge for myself and lylia LOLL wore it on my lanyard throughout the weekend yayyy 
awwwwwwww I got to pat them *//////*
Met so many wonderful people last year that I got to see again! Saw yumi, miyu, chibi, rea, neitzarr, bree and little sweetmarshmallow (awww she's adorable as Tsuna!! gave me a delicious chocolate cupcake too <3<3) They all cosplayed amazingly <3
Also met PZ, lily, ellie and rainoa for the first time finally kyahh >////< rainoa was standing in front of me for a while until she introduced herself LOLL you're so cute!!! >3
LOLLL PZ is so damn hilarious XD and her cosplays are all very wonderful~~ especially loved her and her friend's Alice in Wonderland cosplays :)
btw, saw WAYYYYYYY too many Ciel cosplayers! got a bit repetitive for me, even though their cosplays were purdy ;__;

ahhh and lots&lots of male crossdressers... masa said it's common in japan tho? hm
Had a guestbook on my table... LOLL why did I get so many comments about YAOI LOLLLLL people wrote nice things, and the people who came and chatted with us were also friendly and funny, really cheered me up through all the stress of Manifest :)

People didn't recognize them and thought they were originals ahahaha (we didn't dare to tell them it was from an otome game XD)
We starved on Friday.. the only food available were from the Maid Cafe, or chicken curry on rice XD So we stocked up on Friday night and had so much junk on the next few days~~ We never starved again :)
After Manifest, it was sad to see everything packed up :( I went to dinner with Lucy, Sha, Chan, Yumi & Rea etc. Let's just say I'm off egg for a while............. XDDDD Was so tired in the car ride ;___; dreading about school too argh
Overall Manifest was a blast! And I only spent 17$ throughout Manifest (on a Gintama surprise toy which I sadly got Sakamoto, and a Ciel half naked figurine LOLL) I'm quite proud of myself at saving XD Next year our table will cosplay for sure! There are also so many things to improve on! Now I have enough money to spend at Sydney Animania~ can't waittttt *A*

but really, my like for yura's games increases after each game. I love every character in this one so I'm not really aiming for any particular route XD who doesn't like mafia bishies

I noticed many BL mangaka/doujinka are switching to het pairing work such as Watanabe Asia, Takarai Rihito and even Hachi Fujiko (shoooock!).. their new work all appeared in otome-styled magazines ;w; Maybe drawing in the BL field aren't providing them enough income? T^T
Spent the whole weekend on facebook playing farm town and restaurant city XD what a fail ;w;
This morning my traders coordinator finally contacted me, and informed me that there are only less than 5 tables left at Manifest!!!! went through a rush, completed applications&payments and express posted the letter D: I hope I end up getting a table >__<

the japanese test went very well!! i've been placed in a high level class, i was so relieved lololol maybe because i didnt actually talk so much to the teacher otherwise my amateurish cover would've been blown
i've been denied entry into the casino today ;A; because i didnt have a drivers licence as an age proof OTL more reasons to get it sooner (not sure if i should be glad that i look younger than 18 XD)
i received so many lovely presents this week from lylia and starie~~ thankyouthankyou >3<

had university orientation all week, didnt actually meet anyone new since alot of my friends are going to the same university, which kind of surprised me XD very excited for university next week *0*
